Chakra comes from a system of existent philosophical beliefs of Hinduism. The first texts which speak about it are written in Sanskrit. For the persons sticking to these beliefs, they have a physical and physiological reality in the same capacity as other organs, even if this physics is, in their comprehension, much more subtle. In occultism, it is asserted that divining would allow to see them as centres of light and energy.
