Created in 1991, Enfants d’Asie Association (Children of Asia) supports more than 10.000 children, (orphans or in distress situation) in about 50 centers (children villages, schools, households, orphanages) located in South-East Asia : Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and the Philippines.
The Association helps underpriviledged children by providing them with the primary needs they require : food, housing, medical care, affective support. The association also helps the children in building up their future : schooling, vocational trainings, scholarships, computer classes, English and French teaching, microcredit.
Enfants d’Asie also provides help in case of emergency : welcoming street children, rescueing children victims of violence ...
Sponsorship, gesture of lasting solidarity, allows to underprivileged children to live their child's life within their community, thanks to the regular contribution of the sponsors.
Sponsorship allows to assure the essential needs of the child and in a lesser measure those of its community: nutrition, accommodation, medical monitoring and prevention, schooling and professional training, while respecting its culture, its environment and its way of life.
